Shuddered Venues Grant Opportunity
The Small Business Administration has released information regarding a new grant opportunity totaling $16 Billion. The funds are available to Live and Motion Picture Venues as well as production companies and talent reps. The application opens April 8th and will fund your business with up to 45% of 2019 gross earned revenue. If you were not in operation for all of 2019, your grant eligibility would be calculated based on your revenues during your fully operational months. It is highly recommended that applicants begin the process of identifying required documentation and applying for a DUNS number. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development launched a new Rural Development Eligibility Lookup Tool, which has been integrated into Rural Development’s Eligibility site. This site now directs users to an eligibility mapping tool for the following programs: Community Facilities Electric OneRD Guarantee Rural Business and Cooperative Services Water and Environmental Programs The Rural Development Eligibility Lookup Tool enables user flexibility in determining programmatic eligibility based on their location across multiple programs simultaneously. This initiative supports Rural Development’s mission to provide efficient, transparent and accessible services while ensuring compliance with federal requirements and maintaining consistency with existing eligibility data sources.
